DanRan Co.,Ltd. (collectively, “Company”) has established the following Privacy Policy, in order to ensure the proper handling of user information when customers use our products or services (collectively, "Services").

Unless otherwise specified, the terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the same meanings as in the Terms of Use of "Let’s touch! ‘Akamaru”.

1.General Provisions

  1. To realize the protection of user information, Company will comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and other related laws and ordinances.This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the Services (including services provided by Company in conjunction with the Service).
  2. In the event that the Privacy Policy or the "Terms of Use of the ‘Let’s touch ‘AKAMARU’’" (collectively, "Terms of Use") posted on the website operated by Company stipulates Company's handling of user information, the provisions of this Privacy Policy shall apply in addition to the provisions of such Terms of Use. In the event that the provisions of the Terms and Conditions conflict with the provisions of this Privacy Policy, the provisions of this Protection Policy shall prevail.
  3. If a user is a minor, the user shall use the Services only after obtaining the consent of a legal representative such as a person with parental authority. In addition, if a user who was a minor at the time the user agreed to this Privacy Policy uses the Services after reaching the age of majority, the user shall be deemed to have ratified the act of use while he/she was a minor.

2. Information to be obtained

  1. In Services, Company collects user information, including personal information ("Personal information" as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the "Personal Information Protection Act", hereinafter the same shall apply), as follows.

3. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

  1. Company will properly handle user information obtained through the use of the Services within the scope of the following purposes.

  2. Company and third parties to whom statistical data are provided will use the statistical data for the following purposes.

  3. If Company changes the purpose of use of user information, Company will notify the user or publicly announce such changes in a manner separately determined by Company.

4. Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties

  1. Company will not provide personal information among user information to any third party, except in the following cases.
    1. When Company have obtained the user's consent
    2. When required by law,
    3. When Company takes necessary action against a user who has committed or is about to commit an act that is detrimental to the interests of others, offensive to public order and morals, or otherwise violates the Terms of Use.
    4. When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain consent of the individual
    5. When the provision of personal information is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, and when it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned
    6. Cases in which the provision of personal information is necessary for cooperating with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and in which obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the execution of such affairs
    7. When the business containing the user's personal information is succeeded due to a merger, corporate separation, transfer of business, or other reasons

5. Outsourcing the handling of personal information

Company may entrust the handling of all or part of the personal information obtained from users to a third party. In such cases, Company will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the information is appropriately managed and secured by the third party.

6. Use of Cookies

  1. The Services uses cookies, web beacons, UIDs, etc. ( collectively, the "cookies") and access analysis tools such as Google Analytics (collectively, the "access analysis tools") that use cookies.
  2. Through cookies or access analysis tools, Company receives information on users' access to the Services, browsing information, and information on devices such as device type or OS version. Such information does not include information that alone can identify or specify the user.
  3. Company uses cookies and access analysis tools to understand how users use the Services, to improve and develop the Services and to deliver advertisements tailored to the interests of users.

7. Disclosure of Personal Data

When Company receives a request from a user to disclose Personal Data, Company will conduct the necessary investigation and respond to the request in accordance with laws and regulations without delay.

However, if disclosure would result in any of the following cases, Company may decide not to disclose all or part of Personal Data, and if Company may decide not to disclose Personal Data, Company will notify the User to that effect without delay. Please note Company may charge a fee for the disclosure of Personal Data.

  1. When there is a risk of harm to the life, propety, body, or other rights or interests of User or a third party
  2. If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper conduct of our business
  3. Other cases that would violate laws and regulations

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

  1. Company will review the status of its handling of user information from time to time and strive for continual improvement. Company may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time as necessary.
  2. The revised Privacy Policy will be announced on the Services, on Company's website, and in other ways as prescribed by Company.
